About Tiverton
Tiverton is a thriving historic Mid Devon market town with a population of around 20,000. There is a wide range of shopping and recreational facilities, including a new leisure centre, new hospital and new civic offices incorporating a new library. There are a huge number of Clubs & Associations covering most sports, hobbies and pastimes with new tennis courts, indoor bowling centre and an excellent 18 hole Golf Course.
There are 6 Primary Schools throughout the town with a large, well equipped High School and East Devon College together with the famous Blundell’s Public School on the town outskirts.
The town is ideally situated for easy access to the North & South Devon coasts with the North Devon Link Road providing dual carriageway links to the M5 motorway junction 27. Exeter and Taunton are within 15 & 20 miles distance respectively whilst Bristol and Plymouth are both within about an hour drive.
